Going to Dance!

Not much to say about the outfit, but just wanted to update you on a sale.  Charlotte Russe is having their colored dot sale.  All blue dots are $2.99 (green 4.99 and red 9.99).  My mom got a couple of the blue dot bargains...including this dress.  This is great to throw on over my dance leo of over a bathing suit.  It is terry cloth so very comfortable.  Originally priced at $16.99, but we snagged it for $2.99!  Black/white bag also from Charlotte Russe a few months back.  It was originally $19.99 for $4.99!  Today my mom went to JC Penney they are having their green ticket markdowns.  Earlier in the week things were priced depending on their original cost.  For example if it was originally under $30 it was $4.97  under $50 it was 6.97  everything over was $9.97.  Well today everything was marked down to $1.97!!!  My mom got a $90 pair of lined linen pants for $1.97.  I got a few things which I will wear later on.  I got 2 bathing suits...each piece originally ~$26 for $1.97...now that's a sale. 

TGIF first week of HS done!

Well, a great first week.  I really enjoy my new school and there are lots of kids there that dress with lots of personality, so that's fun to see!  I decided to go with a denim skirt to finish up the week.  My mom just got this 3/4 sleeve "vintage wash t-shirt" at Target for $2.48 (orig 9.99) so that inspired the outfit.  I had these fish net type tights with bright color flowers on them that I thought went well with the T-shirt.  You can't see the shoes but they are simple tennis shoes with silver metallic on them.  The shoes couldn't be too busy because the tights are so busy.  The tennis shoes are from RAVE a few years back.  We went into a mall the other day and RAVE was gone... a new store Images was there.  Hope all of them aren't gone.  Here are the details:

Performance Night

Just thought I would add this from a couple of weeks ago.  I performed at a talent exposure showcase and sang a song from Legally Blonde, so I was going for the Elle Woods look.  Of course lots of pink and sequins.  Lots of curl in my hair that night.  Check out a teaching salon for really inexpensive hairstyles.  If you are daring, the stylists get to practice on you and you leave with a fun, new style.  Here are the details of the outfit:

Ballet Inspired Skirt

My mom was in Asheville, NC this summer and she said they have some fun boutiques.  Not very many bargains but unique stuff.  Thats where she got this purple skirt layered in tulle.  Reminds me of a ballet tutu!  The tulle was alot longer than the skirt and I didn't like that so I cut it shorter.  Here are the other details:

First day of High School!

Summer is over ):  I was excited to start at the Performing Arts High School!  I can't wait to have dance class as part of my school day!  I picked this PacSun dress for the first day.  It was 50% off, not as great as some of the sales there.  The dress is black/white striped - trimmed in neon green.  I love neon anything.  My mom had just gotten these new puma tennis shoes...Camo Lime Green!  They are actually mens tennis shoes...I can't see many men wearing them!  Here are the details:
