JC Penney bargains!  JC Penney is a confusing store.  Individual stores run sales totally differently.  One store had their big clearance sale right after Christmas and another store just had their big clearance sale last week.  On Monday stuff was marked down $3.97 - 6.97  by Thursday it was all $1.97!!!  A few weeks ago all their boots were $9.97 (reg $100++).  The boots in this outfit were a Christmas present.  Mom bought them in October from Forever 21for $5.99 (light brown and dark brown pair...can't buy just one and that price) Here are the details:

Weekend Fashion

Welcome to the weekend. Here are a few outfits that I wore to go to the movies and shopping on a weekend. I was out in California last year for acting classes and my mom hit this great sale at Urban Outfitters. We don't have a store real close to us, but when she finds one she goes in and never has seen a sale like the one in California. Another school outfit - $20 and change!

This entire outfit for less than $21! Every now and then Charlotte Russe has a few racks of blue dot/red dot clearance items. Sometimes they are take a % off, but sometimes they are $2.99 or $4.99 and up. That's where this rock-n-roll t-shirt came from. Charlotte Russe is also a great place to look for sale hand bags and accessories. Once, my mom found all of their sunglasses on sale for .50. I think she bought 20 pairs, but that was only $10. They have cute shoes, but sometimes not so comfortable. This skull skirt was from Kohl's. Kohl's always has clearance racks of 75-80% off. This pair of shoes from Old Navy were quite the bargain at .98, but as with most tie shoes the ties slid down my legs, but the sequence on the shoes is a fun accent. Here are the outfit details:

Right now they are running their green tag sale when all clearance is marked either $1.97, 4.97, $9.97 depending on the original price. After a few weeks, they sometimes mark everything down further. About a month ago, my mom got a black eyelet strapless dress that was originally $70 that was marked down to $2.97 less 50% for a grand total of $1.48!!! . Now that's a bargain! Going Out Outfit!

Here I am going to a play. I love musical theatre. I am working on becoming a triple threat. For those of you who don't know, that is someone who acts, dances and sings. My fashion choices show that. I am pretty daring (different) in some of the things I wear. My mom thinks that makes shopping more fun for her. This outfit was fun to wear because it included a pretty fancy dress (sparkles and all), but I wore it with a denim jacket and flip-flops! I love mixing casual with fancy. Here are the details on the outfit. Unfortunately, you can't go out and buy this outfit because it was last season's stuff. Some of the clothes I wear will be last season's, but you can get an idea of places to shop and bargains to look for. If we weren't sure of a price we will put a "?" by it, but most of the time we save the receipts or price tags.
