Here we go again at JC Penney.  Every store is totally different.  Right now they are having take an extra 20% off (most stuff marked down 50% already).  At one store in the junior department, they had a few items with their green tickets (atleast 75% off) and you still take an extra 20% off.  We were going to purchase this sweats and jacket and they were marked 50% off; we get to the register and they were marked $1.97 less 20%...whopping $1.58 each piece.  So, all of their Betty Boop clothes were marked down to $1.58.  Back to the racks for us, we bought 10 items for $15.80 and the regular price would have been $409.20!!!

I was going to an afternoon musical so thought this would be fun to wear.  I chose some black flip-flops for about $2, so the whole outfit with jewelry and hair clip was about $7.50.  I thought the Rave Clearance store was back to a regular store, but I was wrong!  We have one store that is still a clearance store, so call your local Rave store and ask if you have a clearance store near you.  Ours is at Irving Mall.  Marked down items were an extra 50% off (sometimes extra 75% off).  So this dress was marked down to $6.99, less 50%  for $3.49!  Not many other details to share:

Carolina Herrera Project

Snow Day!

A chance to wear a coat!  I got this coat at Forever 21.  It wasn't on sale, but still a deal at $29.99.  It is metallic silver with a fur trimmed hood.  This dress is the bargain.  It was actually a shirt, but long enough with tights to wear as a dress.  It is from JC Penney and was originally $36 marked down to $3.97 (almost 90% off)!!!  The tights are from Claires for .50 as are the leg warmers.  Same with the necklace and earrings.  I can't remember where we got the white boots, they get dirty but we just throw them in the washing machine!  Happy Snow Day!

Sorry I took a long break.  Back to school.  Happy 2008.  Yes, I got lots of new clothes/shoes/bags and jewelry for Christmas.  My mom found a RAVE clearance store.  All markdowns an extra 75%. Before X-mas, I fell in love with some boots that had Devil on the back of one and Angel on the other...they were $400 at this high end boutique.  My mom found these "LOVE" boots for $25 at Charlotte Russe.  Not exactly the same, but close enough for a difference of $375!

My mom does a lot of shopping at the GUESS store. Our mall store happens to be one of their "outlet" stores, so they have racks of clearance items that you can take an extra 50-70% off of the clearance prices! I wore this outfit to school last week. I can't remember where I got the furry boots. Pretty cool huh? My mom thought I was crazy wearing the furry boots with a glitter dress! Oh well, she did suggest the jean vest to dress the outfit down a bit. The vest is from Wet Seal and we do not have the receipt. However, it was a clearance item and then a buy one get one free, plus I have a frequent buyer card that gets an extra 10% off. So my guess of $7 is probably pretty close. Weekend Fashion

Welcome to the weekend. Here are a few outfits that I wore to go to the movies and shopping on a weekend. I was out in California last year for acting classes and my mom hit this great sale at Urban Outfitters. We don't have a store real close to us, but when she finds one she goes in and never has seen a sale like the one in California. The sale was actually in a tent...hence the $1 belt from the purple outfit! Once again the jewelery is from Claire's or Icing. This weekend they have their 10 for $5 going on at some stores. My mom went shopping, but I think it will be Christmas before I see the goods. She also got some bargains at Forever 21 and JC Penney that I have yet to see! Another school outfit - $20 and change!

This entire outfit for less than $21! Every now and then Charlotte Russe has a few racks of blue dot/red dot clearance items. Sometimes they are take a % off, but sometimes they are $2.99 or $4.99 and up. That's where this rock-n-roll t-shirt came from. Charlotte Russe is also a great place to look for sale hand bags and accessories. Once, my mom found all of their sunglasses on sale for .50. I think she bought 20 pairs, but that was only $10. They have cute shoes, but sometimes not so comfortable. This skull skirt was from Kohl's. Kohl's always has clearance racks of 75-80% off. This pair of shoes from Old Navy were quite the bargain at .98, but as with most tie shoes the ties slid down my legs, but the sequence on the shoes is a fun accent. Here are the outfit details:

Here's an outfit I wore to school. JC Penney has some great bargains at the end of the season. Right now they are running their green tag sale when all clearance is marked either $1.97, 4.97, $9.97 depending on the original price. After a few weeks, they sometimes mark everything down further. About a month ago, my mom got a black eyelet strapless dress that was originally $70 that was marked down to $2.97 less 50% for a grand total of $1.48!!! . Now that's a bargain! Going Out Outfit!

Here I am going to a play. I love musical theatre. I am working on becoming a triple threat. For those of you who don't know, that is someone who acts, dances and sings. My fashion choices show that. I am pretty daring (different) in some of the things I wear. My mom thinks that makes shopping more fun for her. This outfit was fun to wear because it included a pretty fancy dress (sparkles and all), but I wore it with a denim jacket and flip-flops! I love mixing casual with fancy.
