Back to School Trends - Mad with Plaids

We're gong to try something new.  In the September issue of Seventeen, they list the Top Ten Back to school Trends pages 43-62.  Well I am going to do all 10 trends on my blog..(the puffy vest will be a little tricky in the Texas heat, we might have to save that one for cooler weather!)  The top ten trends are:

Today is mad for plaid!  "So bold they make you look more punk than preppy."  My day started with my hair down, but we didn't have a camera.  This is after school, hair in bun after dance classes:  Here are the details:
